一般将来时的基本用法复习素材知识点精析 一般将来时用来表示将要发生 的事，常与soon, tomorrow, n ext week, some day, in (the) future等词连用。 （1）shall用于第一人称，常被will代替。will在陈述句中可用于各种人称，在征求意见时常用于第二人称。 will (shall) + 动词原形往往指没 有经过计划而临时出现的意图，常伴有说话者的主观意识或表示将来必然发生的事。 （2）be going to + 动词原形，既可指主观打算做某事，也可 指客观迹象表明将要发生某事。 （3）“be + 不定式”，表示客观安排或受人指示而做某事。 （4）be going to, will与be to的区别 ① I’m going toquit my present job. （现在的打算，事先经过思考，指向将来） ② I’ll answer the door. （未经事先考虑的意图） ③ The little boyis going to fall over. （根据客观迹象判断） ④ I hope it will be fine tomorrow. （主观意愿） ⑤ I am to play football tomorrow afternoon. （客观安排） ⑥ I am going to play football tomorrow afternoon. (主观安排） （5）be about to do意为“马上做某事”，表 示即将发生某事，该事将发生在不远的将来，不能与tomorrow, next week等表示明确将来的时间状语连用。He was about to explain when she interrupted me. 他正要解释，她打断了我.。 （6）be on the point of doing 强调在很近的将来要发生的事。 They are on the point of leaving. 他们正要离开。 （7）在时间、条件等状语从句中，用一般现在时表将来。（见一般现在时第（6）条讲解） （8）某些表示短暂性动作的动词如arrive, come, go, leave, start等，用现在进行时形式表示将来。 I am leavi ng for Beijing tomorrow. 我明天动身去北京。 （9）“祈使句 + and/or + 句子”，这种结构中and后面的句子谓语用一般将来时。 Use your head and you will find a way. 动动脑子，你会找到一种方法。 The Cambridge Science Festival Curiosity Challenge Dare to Take the Curiosity Challenge! The Cambridge Science Festival (CSF) is pleased to inform you of the sixth annual Curiosity Challenge. The challenge invites, even d ares school students between the ages of 5 and 14 to create artwork or a piece of writing that shows their curiosity and how it inspires them to explore their world. Students are being dared to draw a picture, write an article, take a photo or write a poem that shows what they are curious about. To enter the challenge, all artwork or pieces of writing should be sent to the Cambridge Science Festival, MIT Museum, 265 Mass Avenue, Cambridge 02139 by Friday, February 8th. Students who enter the Curiosit y Challenge and are selected as winners will be honoured at a special ceremony during the CSF on Sunday, April 21st. Guest speakers will also present prizes to the students. Winning entries will be published in a book. Student entries will be exhibited and prizes will be given. Families of those who take part will be included in the celebration and brunch will be served. Between March 10th and March 15h, each winner will be given the specifics of the closing ceremony and the Curiosity Challenge celebration.
